Director, Product Management

The Director, Product Management will innovate our social marketing platform and champion the use of social media for brand marketing.  The ideal candidate has agency, brand or online advertising experience and an informed perspective on the future of social media.  The successful candidate has the energy and passion to be a product visionary.

The responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with Executive Management, Engineering, User Experience Design and Business Development in defining product vision and strategy;
  • Gathering, defining, and prioritizing product requirements, delivering a detailed product road map and managing the product release schedule;
  • Ongoing analysis of key business metrics and industry trends that drive Odyl product strategy;
  • Planning and executing a product release schedule inclusive of research and development required to support a strong product pipeline.

Qualified candidates will offer the following professional experience and personal qualities:

  • A minimum of Bachelors Degree (with an MBA being a plus)
  • 6+ years experience in web-software product management
  • Prior experience working in a startup
  • Specific experience with social media and in depth knowledge about trends in online advertising
  • An excellent track record of defining, developing and launching large scale web products
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous organization skills with passionate attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills combined with good business judgment

Application Developer

OdylFarm is seeking an enthusiastic C#/.NET developer to participate in the ongoing development of our social branding software. As Application Developer, your primary responsibility will be developing and maintaining social applications and widgets based on our platform. You will be working alongside core engineers other application developers in a team role, creating software products based on marketing and technical requirements.

As an ideal candidate for Application Developer, you have:

  • A firm foundation in C#/.NET and SQL
  • A CS degree or equivalent work experience
  • A familiarity with web application API's (Facebook, Google, YouTube, Twitter, etc.)
  • An understanding of social networking, and an active profile on Facebook
  • A fearless desire to break new ground and build awesome stuff

Platform Engineer

Odyl is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic C#/.NET developer to oversee and participate in the ongoing development of our social marketing software.

As Platform Engineer, your primary responsibility will be developing and maintaining the core software platform upon which we build our applications. You will be working alongside our application developers in a leadership role, providing software design guidance and developing new features and functionality in the platform to support technical and business requirements.

As an ideal candidate for Platform Engineer, you have:

  • Strong C#/.NET and SQL skills, and a sweet bag of tricks
  • A CS degree (or equivalent) and real-world experience developing and supporting software products (whole lifecycle), not just projects
  • Experience working with web application API's (Facebook, Google, YouTube, Twitter, etc.)
  • An understanding of social networking, and an active profile on Facebook
  • A desire to lead, break new ground, and build some awesome stuff

Senior Account Executive

If you are a prolific deal maker with the energy, skill and organization to sell leading edge social marketing products, then this opportunity is for you. This opportunity is for uniquely dynamic individuals who want to make big things happen.

Responsibilities:

  • Make multiple cold calls daily in order to generate and qualify new leads (we believe in hitting the phones!).
  • Proactively call on 'targeted' advertisers and agencies to solicit new business.
  • Identify opportunistic business with direct marketers, online advertisers, and agencies.
  • Consult with potential clients on their marketing needs and position our products as solutions.
  • Take part in the conversation on how to best improve our products.

Requirements:

  • Energy and pace to place a large volume of outbound calls combined with ability to effectively manage the sales cycle from qualification and needs assessment through to closure.
  • Excellent profiling and closing skills.
  • The ability to work independently with little direct supervision while maintaining a high degree of focus.
  • A Proven track record of success in online ad sales.
  • Awareness of social media industry trends and technologies.
  • Voracious interest in all things marketing and advertising.
  • The ultimate candidate would have 2 or more years of proven sales experience within the social media space including achieving revenue and quota goals.
  • A Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or university.

Compensation: You will be responsible for driving revenue and be rewarded based on your achievement of dollar goals as well as strategic account acquisition. Base Salary depending on experience with extraordinary commission at plan (multipliers if you exceed goals), great benefits, and an achievement-based stock incentive plan.
